My Philosophy
Let’s start with imperfection.
Flowers are imperfect. They push up through dirt and worms and moss, and somehow still grow into something resilient and beautiful. And a disheveled home is often a sign that life is happening here and now. I believe flaws are not just okay, they’re necessary. They tell stories. They show us what’s real.
I often ask: how can we find beauty in the ordinary? Can two things that don’t seem to belong together actually connect in an unexpected way? What does the natural world teach us about how we shape our interiors, and vice versa?
By asking these questions we start to accept things, and ourselves, as they are. We learn to work with what we have, not what we think we should have. In a world that moves quickly why not slow down? Notice. Enjoy everyday life and the simple imperfect beauty that comes with it. Pay attention to a friendly little snail or curious jumping spider.
I believe that when craftsmanship and humanness are intertwined, something honest and heartfelt comes through. That’s what I try to create and I invite you to slow down and enjoy this craft with me.
